General FAQ
After retrofit installation, take time to understand how your new systems work, including heating controls, hot water settings, solar monitoring and any insulation or ventilation guidance provided. Keep any installer documents, warranties and user guides safe, and contact Fairway Energy if anything does not seem right.
After heat pump installation, your heating may feel different from a traditional boiler. Heat pumps are designed to run steadily at lower temperatures, helping your home stay warm and energy efficient over longer periods rather than switching on and off quickly.
Yes, it can be completely normal for a heat pump to run for longer periods, especially during colder weather. Heat pumps work most efficiently by maintaining a steady indoor temperature rather than rapidly heating the home like a gas boiler.
After solar panel installation, check that your system is switched on, your inverter is working correctly, and any monitoring app or display is showing energy generation. If you notice warning lights or no solar generation during daylight hours, contact support.
Low system pressure may mean your heating system needs checking or re-pressurising. If you see a low pressure warning after installation, follow the guidance provided by your installer or contact Fairway Energy for advice and support.
You should contact support if you have no heating or hot water, warning lights on your system, low pressure alerts, solar monitoring issues, unusual noises, or if you are unsure how to use your new equipment after installation.
